Your Retainers & 3D Models – A Lifetime Investment

  • In addition to the removable retainers, we are including a set of unbreakable 3D-printed models of your teeth.
Proper wear of your retainers and proper care & storage of your models are essential to your retainer guarantee.
  • Wear your removable retainer(s) full-time as instructed. This will only be 3 months. Easy — no excuses!
  • After 3 months, you will be instructed to wear them at night only. So wear them while you sleep FOREVER or until you feel like paying for treatment all over again! If you stop sleeping in your retainers, YOUR TEETH WILL MOVE. Don’t take any chances.

Low-Cost Retainer Replacements

If your retainer is lost or damaged, Smile Protection Club members can receive a new retainer for a minimal copay of $20. No large replacement fees. No surprises.

When Do You Need a New Scan for Retainers?

If we have to take a new scan of your mouth to have NEW printed models and new retainers made, you will be charged $150 per arch. There are only 4 reasons why retainers could not be made on your existing models:

  • You’re not wearing your retainer as instructed and you’ve allowed your teeth to move.
  • You don’t bring your models in right away after you’ve lost or broken your retainers and you let your teeth move.
  • You have significant dental work done.
  • You lose or damage your models.

Fixed Retainers – Keep or Remove? Here’s What You Need to Know

If any of the fixed retainers are loose/broken after it’s been placed, we recommend leaving it out and resuming unobstructed flossing. Your hygienist will thank you!

Your removable retainer will still fit and will be enough at this point to prevent your teeth from moving. If you choose to have the fixed retainer redone, we are more than happy to replace it, but be aware that there will be an additional charge as it is not part of this program.
